Hi Daman / Glenn,
Gardasil has proven clinical efficacy at preventing HPV type-specific infection and induction of high titres of neutralising type-specific and cross-type serum antibodies in a variety of populations.
However, an immune correlate of vaccine-derived protection has not been defined.HPV serology assays exist in various forms in the research domain. If interested I can pass on some names / publications, but I don't know of anyone in Australia.

I have two working assays for HPV-16-specific T-cells, however at present they are only worked up for E6 and E7 oncogenes, not the L1 capsid protein that is in Gardasil.
