Thanks to John Quin for more input on discussion about the severity of ACEI-related angioedema:
"Dear All- Liverpool has about one to 2 patients a month admitted for ACEI induced angioedema. About half of these are severe enough to require ICU and one patient was in ICU for a week. His treatment was complicated by the use of sotalol, a long acting beta blocker. We have used icatibant with success but it still takes up to 2-3 hours to work - John Quin"
